This is nothing new to some but for those who never heard of this stuff, then have a try and you can really use this with your free hosting in this forum and it's really cool.

What you can do:

1. Map an ftp. It's just like mapping a folder using subst command or mapping a network folder.
2. Work with your website. After mapping an ftp where your website is, you can work with it. After mapping, it will give you an additional drive on your computer, for example Drive W:. You can enter that drive and edit your webpages directly which means that you don't have to have to publish any webpages, just click save from file menu and done. It is just like uploading it to your webserver. Plus, you can make us of that drive as an extra storage that can be accessed anywhere in the world. But of course, you can make some not accessible publicly. Also, you can setup a common drive between two computers such as one in your home computer, and second, in your work computer; let us say, you assign drive X: to both your home and work computers, any file or files saved on that drive is common to both computers.

What to do?

1. Download webdrive. You can download it anywhere in the internet, however, you may also want no extra hastle, just click here and save.
2. Install webdrive.
3. Configure webdrive' settings. Open it and run as service. Input your settings such as your ftp address, username, password, and other settings such as keeping your connection alive and etc. Choose your drive letter for that ftp, for example, W. I suggest using letter W because it's your www.com Drive. That all.
4. After configuring everything, click Connect.
5. You may open your My Computer and then you can work with whatsoever with your drive.

Hope you like this.

That is all for now, if any in here is not clear, please do reply and I will answer specific stuffs.
