So, cats or dogs? Personally, I like them both, but there have to be some hardline fanatics out there.

So what will it be? Make sure to support your decisions with evidence! Who knows, you may convince others...

I can tell you from the onset that this is an unresolvable topic. But that isn't against the rules ... is it? wink.gif

Well, I'm currently confused as to what to do with my website, but that's not the point. I want to uninstall Nucleus, see, but it utilises shell commands. My friend - who far supersedes me in programmingness - has already suggested two alternate commands; they failed miserably.

So, shall I just start randomly deleting folders and files? tongue.gif Or maybe an admin could make it work, I dunno.

I assure you I am not a malicious user, but putting powerful commands in my hands would be risky. smile.gif

So ... what course of action should I take?

Thanks a bunch.

I like it I like it. I get a PM, for example, and it's a nice thing on my screen when I visit the forums. So cool. I liiiikes.

All right. I was just wondering whether I'm ignoring something obvious, or ...

Right, I went to the hosting forum, chose subdomain, typed in the name, and then I get a blank page. And ... nothing. I decided to try again, seems I can't. Okay, okay. Maybe an e-mail? Nothing. Browsed around. Decided I'd be patient, wait and see ... nothing. And now I tried putting other names in, one complete gibberish, and it says the username is taken.

Now I may be missing something obvious ... but I don't know. Any suggestions/help/stuff?

Thanks. smile.gif

Simply go into terminal, become root user, and type
CODE
lshw
You can write the information to an HTML file by typing
CODE
lshw -html > filename.html

For a much better explanation and more details, visit HardwareLiSter.

Now to see if I have gtk-lshw.
