Is it possible to have a backup server?

Is it possible to have a backup nameservers from another hosting in such a way that my site runs on tfcph all the time and when the server is down it moves to the other hosting account (perhaps the free ad-powered hosting that my domain provider gives me).

So that I will know that the tfcph server is down when i see ads on my website. But I would want the backup hosting to work only when the first one fails

how old is this community?

This community still seems to be a reasonably new community .. Does anyone know how old this is?

(By the way .. I like this community because it seems more sane than any other communities I have visited)

A 4 Party System instead of Two party system

Do you think it might be a good idea to have a 4 party system instead of a 2 party system that we currently have. We just have the "left" and the "right" with republican and democatic party. Don't you think it would be great if we had two other parties. Say Ralph's and Ron paul's party.

It might be nice because two groups will have to come together to elect a president.
We might have a combination of more than one parties to secure the White house. So the Whitehouse is not leaning one way or other.

Grand Forums logging me out

Did it happen to anyone else? For some reason I keep getting logged out from time to time.
A lot of times when I have posted a reply on a topic. I get logged out

New 3D games too complicated :(

Does anyone else feel the same way about the new games that are out
I feel it takes hours to get used to the 3D motion and they are way too complicated than the simple games like Mario, Alladin, Prince... I like the graphics and everything in the new games but it takes forever to understand what is happening and what we are supposed to do.. I guess the new games are only for those people who are hard core gamers and can play for long hours..
i wish there were more simpler but games.
Does anyone else feel the same way ?
