We would like to remind all users to run virus scans on their home directory regularly, especially those of you who have file uploading services. The virus scanner can be found in cpanel (bottom row I think). If you do find a virus, password your public_html directory and inform staff so we can check the logs to bann the persons responsible.

Good job that you are scanning for viruses. Many bot hearders use webhosts that allow a upload of exes to spread there exe's. Which you could be liable for.

Hmm well I'm not sure I know that exe's don't work on servers because most servers are UNIX(Linux) hosted and since exe's are windows platformed it should not effect it not unless its a very well made linux virus. smile.gif

What i meant was that they would use your server to host there exe file and then just create a auto downloader that would download the exe frm your server
