Anyway, I just got my free Cpanel thing.. and it doesn't make any sense to me at all!

I have absolutely no clue what PGP keys, Cron Jobs, SSL manager ect are.

A list of their meanings in english would be very helpful.

Or alternatively, a list of stuff to click/install to create a forum would also be very handy to computing amatuers like me.

It's quite geeky down there, to make a forum:
1. Login
2. Under preinsalled scripts, click PHPBB
3. Go ahead.

PGP = Encryption, see their website (http://www.pgp.com/) for more info

Cron Jobs allow you to run UNIX commands ever hour, half hour, day etc. Unless you know what a UNIX command is, you probably don't need to know.

SSL is the tecnoligy behind https:// SSL manager allows you to start these up, I don't think it is all enabled here

Stands for "HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure."

And as for the forums, don't listen to him. Get SMF instead (it's in CPanel).

To find SMF (as you are probably confused - Find Fantastico under preinstalled scripts, and then find SMF under forums, and then follow the instructions on the right)
