"OR", you could follow the rules and not make every post "ok", "cool", "thanks" and not reply to threads made in 2006... eh

first rules make sense, but sometimes you don't realize when the thread was made

I often see interesting threads when I post on another thread (the "similar threads" links at the bottom).
I post a comment on one of those and realize that it's like 2 years old

There is an actual notice shown to new GF members that tells them not to post on ancient threads, you won't be able to see it unless you make a new account and post a few times. W1cked would of seen it. The rule is more for new members replying to old threads with "Yeah, I agree I have one myself" type post, vs established members like yourself, javayahtzee.

yeah! like firefox said.. if you keep it to the rules you should be fine... we don't delete post just because we want to!.. if you spam, you'll be warned and receive a pm also.

I respect all the rules here, And i know what spam is, Actually i even hate spammers, (in a nice sence^^)
But im used to an another cms, (forum) wich show when the topics are made in days. (1 week ago, 1 month, 1 year 13 days....)
So i dint even look at the date of the topic, Ofcourse i will now:).
When you are just that exited about a topic, and you agree with some one, you just forget you need to make a usefull post.
All i want to say is that i respect the staff of grand forums, If i do something wrong just let me know, and i will do it right:P

What? We can't post on ancient threads? I didn't know that. My bad
I never got that message you guys mentioned above and it's not on the GF rules either. Maybe someone should update that. Also, how much time is considered 'ancient'?
