We have applied all security patches that are available and a few other misc security items. We are fairly sure the person was using some form of SQL Injection to initiate the illegal hacking of GF.
We often create backups, and conviniently had a backup 20 minutes prior before the main hacking attempt occured and the forum was fully-operational within 4 hours.
All hosting accounts are held completely separate to Grandforums so no one experienced downtime during this humorous, but somewhat pathetic hacking attempt.
When a forum starts growing, as with Grandforums, it will get targetted by the lost sheep of the Internet. I thought of that one just now
