The chatbox is a great idea ... but maybe it would be better if the chatbox shows up on every page of the forum. This way people can post and chat no matter what page of the forum they are browsing

hmm i would say yes and no..if it's on everypage it would just make everypage load slower than regular..

Have you looked at the chat box lately? It's a regular topic. No one's actually chatting in it, and probably 75% of our members don't know it's there.

I suggest it go on every page between the

Grand Forums > Category > Board > Topic

and the Shortcut links.

It would bring it to the attention of the users, and will allow people to chat whilst looking at other things, instead of having to bother going to the home page each time.

You could put it on the top of every page. It shouldn't slow down the pages to much. IS it an iframe? Or is the whole code in there. Because if the whole code there it will slow it down but if its just an iframe it shouldn't slow it down to much.
