Well as here in the UK today was bonfire night, I've been watching the fireworks from my bedroom window. Going to a big firework display on saturday which should be cool.

Anyway I was just wondering what people's favourite type of firework is. As a kid I used to love the boxed fireworks you can buy, especially the traffic light ones and roman candles! I love Catherine wheels too. In terms of big fireworks, I love the ones that open out like umbrellas!!

Sparklers are pretty cool too, especially the coloured ones, though they smoke a lot!!

They don't advertise it anymore, there are so many people there !

I haven't got a favourite, but love loads at the same time ... wink.gif

Never heard of those. What were they like. Here in the UK I used to love bangers and my grandparents always used to buy those for bonfire night. They're banned now though. Still, there are plenty of other loud banging fireworks to take their place.

I always loved catherine wheels, but you never seem to see those anymore!

Anyway, I went to a lovely firework display at my local village park. It decided to start raining just before so I got a bit wet, but the fireworks were very cool, loads of large umbrella type fireworks of all sorts of colours!
