I'm working on my site, and the next moment its not showing up, but yet i can connect to my ftp. so i don't know whats up. I've seen this happening a lot lately. is there still an ip change going on cos it should of resolved by now if it was taking place 2 days ago. anyone else's site not coming up? but you are connecting to your ftps?

I also noticed that if i go to http://x.tfcph.com it works, but if i go to my domain http://daintystar.com it don't, why would that be? i know its not my registrar, cause my domain is up to date. any help would be so awesome smile.gif

thnx everyone!

i had (have) similar problem but things are getting in the normal for me...
this is still a good host (they just have some problems with dns but they are going to fix it) so do not worry..
i am with this host for some time and i did not have complaints before .

Your ISP hasn't updated its DNS records yet. Give it another day max. Nothing much we can do. Most ISP's are pretty quick to pick up changes, while some are just plain slow unfortunately.

My ISP had been resolved for months now, site has been up and running for about 2 months I believe, its not that kind of a problem. Its a hosting problem, well a little one. don't know what the problem is .but my dns resolved like i said months ago. Maybe its the weather I don't know lol. It's happened a few times more than what I experienced the first year I was hosted here. Anyway thanks for your hard work on trying to find and resolve the problem. I'm sure you'll keep us posted smile.gif

If x.tfcph is working, then it's probably a problem with your domain hoster or your ISP. At any rate, it's not tfcph! Give it a day or two.

It was a name server change that happened (out of our control). So your ISP has to resolve the new info (if your ISP takes 30 mins or 3 days to it, we can't do anything to help it along unfortunately), but it's not your actual hosting account, thats running flawlessly.

Most people can see your site, but while you in particular, cant, check out this thread for a temporary fix for yourself: http://www.grandforums.com/I-CANT-ACCESS-M...ress-t4111.html

When hosting has server changes, do the members get notified even if its notified through the board or is there no real warning? Just curious and thanks for the thread I will check that out.

(at the writing of this post) just for the record @ javayahtzee, neither of my urls are working nor is my ftp. they were yesterday today they are not.

thnx guys for the your feedback!

I had the same issue with one of my website which I hosted with TFCPH.
The site couldn't be accessed by entering the domain name in the address bar ... and it was really funny cause everything else worked.
Anyway I decided to terminate my hosting account here ... since the bandwith really isn't enough as my websites started growing really fast.

Anyway I am really happy with the service you guys provide. The only issue I ever had with TFCPH is the thing I mentioned earlier ... with the site that couldn't be accessed by it's domain name.
