What is your view on embryonic stem cell research, is it good? Is it right? Why?

Some facts:

The stem cells can grow into any cell, scientists are researching possiblities of growing new cells with the stem cells, to help repare dammage by cancer or other cell damage

The stem cells are taken from embryos which are spare from IVF, and would die anyway.

However, they do have the potential to become human.

What do you think?

I think that if it was not over used, then it's right. It is not right for people to live forever. The earth would be overpopulated if you could just go in and get a new heart or something.
