These will take a while to load on dial up. Each of them is best suited for 1025x768 resolution (or something close to that)
http://www.fortescomics.tfcph.com/Images/W...teWallpaper.png http://www.fortescomics.tfcph.com/Images/W...anWallpaper.png So far these are all I have, but they are free to use if you're a MegaMan fan (or if you just like them The ElecMan one isnt as good as the Forte one because it was the first one I made. I missed a spot here and there. Made both in Paint.NET, which is my favorite image editing program for everything but spriting and comic making. Tell me what you think. I'll have more from time to time, I'm sure. -------------------- |

Thanks, I'm actually really new to making stuff like this, but since I'm most familiar with Paint.NET, It's sorta easy. I know it doesn't do as good a job as Photoshop would, but I never could use that anyway.

Nice job, only thing I can say is maybe try to blend in the render a bit more with the first one... love what you did with the second one though ^^

Both very nice, i love the colours on both, even though there is not much blending i do not think it needs to be.

Thanks for your comments, I seriously didn't think I did that good of a job.
Although, I have no idea what you mean by blending in the render... Do you mean the background on it? That's actually a mixture of quite a few of Paint.NET's effects. All of my backgrounds made for anything from sigs to avatars and affiliation buttons to these wallpapers are just me experimenting with the blurs and effects. I have no artistic training or graphic design training, so I don't really know many of the really technical terms about it. I was actually surprised with the background on the first once, since it turned out looking so watercolored. -------------------- |

Blending in the render is something you do to try to make the render seem to look like part of the background.

I think I know what you're talking about now. You mean his hand, right? how the white that remains from the original image is still there. Yeah, I try different ways to get that off, but none of them work. I guess I'll just have to take a while to do it by hand.
I have also finished another, this one took me almost two hours, I'm sure. The sword is a little choppy, since that was the major time consumer there, the white on it was so similar to the white around it that the thing that the white inside was erased. Anyways, I hope everyone likes this one, feel free to use it as your desktop background. http://www.fortescomics.tfcph.com/Images/W...anWallpaper.png -------------------- |

Nice background! Did you make that yourself?
Also, are you able to erase with a soft brush? Example, with a hard brush, it will erase everything. With a soft brush, it erases only a little bit, leaving what looks like a gradient effect. (Someone else can probably explain it a bit better) |

I am able to erase with the anti aliasing effect on or off, that might be what you mean. But I find that it helps just to erase with anti aliasing off, so that I don't leave little specks of white. And yes, I did make the background myself, I make all of them myself, they're all just combinations of different special effects.

They suck!
Okay, so I lie. However, to make myself feel better a little, you do not do all of your stuff yourself. Others drew the characters, and you used the program to do the effects. I guess I can't blame you for using the best tools for the job, though. -------------------- |

I thought it was clear that I could never do the characters in it. I'm not that good
Anyway, here is one I'm sure some of you have been waiting for. It's PSP sized! http://www.fortescomics.tfcph.com/Images/W...apalmManPSP.png -------------------- |

I liked the Zero PSP wp better. You should put the MM 20th anniversary one up, that on was good.

That's the RockMan 20th anniversary wallpaper I made, just in time for his 20th, which to the exact date is August 7, 2007. It's 800x600 for people with small screens. http://www.fortescomics.tfcph.com/Images/W...ers/ZeroPSP.png A cooler PSP wallpaper featuring the Zero series style Zero. -------------------- |
