It all depends on where the Google Bots are. Most likely they find websites A-Z and if you have a website starting with a Z and they are on A it's gonna take a while.

I think so.. I hate toolbars and all of those widgets. The extentions of Firefox will do. Well, just my own opinion.

Google page rank is not just to see in Google toolbar what is the rank of your site.
To explain : When somebody type in the search box keywords that yours site have , yours site is not going to be on the first page if you have small page rank , Google is going to display some other pages that haw the same keywords but higher page rank -------------------- Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music.

but provided your backlinks are from high pageranked websites

for those that don't know:
the way the pagerank system works is google searches all the websites in it's directory, and sorts them according to the number of sites that link to that particular page. So say there are two websites, both dedicated to IT Specilization, and one has 5 or so sites linked to it, the other has 12 or so, the one with 12 would be ranked above the one with 5. |

You used to be able to fake the google ranking by spamming hidden links in your web pages to your site, but I'm pretty sure since then (a couple years ago) they've changed the system so it takes just 1 link from each website.
