Php Nuke is the best , if you have any problem in installer script .
You can import table in phpmyadmin and edit config.php
I'm sure it is the best way because i ever have porblem like you .
Now i can make mysite finish with phpnuke .

The problem with PHPNuke and Joomla is that there's just too much bloat involved. it makes the pages load really slow.
wordpress is much faster, which is why I like it better.

I think Joomla is a good CMS, you could also use Wordpress when you kind of use it in a different way. Same goes to Textpattern.

My vote also goes to WordPress.
It is easy and simple to use. I had a site running with WordPress and I really liked it.
