This is the place to discuss or debate everything thats been gnawing at you...

Why did America vote for George Bush? Is the war on terrorism a lie? Is Firefox really the best browser out there?

This section will be a lot of fun but make sure to keep these few things in check:

No blatent abuse, no swearing, and no racism.

Also please do not revive "time based" debates, such as "Who will win the 2004 presidential election" etc.

However other old debates can be resurrected at will!

So hit the back button already and get started! biggrin.gif

P.S. Don't worry about "making enemies". As long as you are respectful you will be fine. smile.gif

It looks like I may be one of the five so far, but even if I'm not, I'm surely having a good time arguing.

People need to

1) Read prior arguments
2) Actually make an argument

1) Other people think like you, it's inevitable, so your argument has already been said. Instead of just stating your claim, read what others have said, and defend your side against arguments.

2) Don't just go into a topic and post a few sentences about which position you hold in the debate. When you go into a topic and just post your idea, all the topic is is a mass record of peoples opinions, not a debate.

If you can't follow these simple things, the Debate Wars won't survive beyond a few months before it becomes like the the General Discussion area (with all of its "What's your favorite..." topics).
