I have a new Acer laptop that I installed Ubuntu on but I can't find a driver for the wireless. It uses some kind of "E-net management" thingy...
Does anyone know where I can find a driver for it, it's anoying not being able to use the internet with it

Ah, Its good to know we have an ubuntu member on the forums
 As far as I remember when using ubuntu it should have it packed of drivers. Which Ubuntu edition do you have? I'd recommend getting the latest one. ShipIt Latest Ubuntu Free --------------------  |

I do have the latest ubuntu distro (7.10) but the problem is that I also have the newest Acer computer so the driver for it isn't supported
BTW: Ubuntu rocks! I love it

Ya Ubuntu does rock ashame it doesnt quite forfil my gaming needs. Its more of a work OS.
Hmm maybe posting on the Ubuntu forums their usually quite helpful with these kind of things. -------------------- |

Haven't found an answer yet. I talked to a friend who uses Ubuntu and he said I should try finding a linux wrapper for the windows driver that came with the computer. I'll see what I can find to do that and hopefully it will work
