Gone camping or going to go camping?
I love to go camping, every year we go camping, this is going to be the first real year we go camping here in England, i've heard of some really good places to go camping. Can anyone suggest a place they've personally been to? Tell me a little about it, maybe post a link if you have one, heck even pictures -------------------- Laugh when you can Apologize when you should And let go of what you can't change |

I love camping, for me it's not a holiday if you don't sleep in a tent! Something about being so basic and back to nature - no electricity, tv etc! Hopefully tho the campsite you're on has hot water!
Anyway as i live in England, i know lots of really great places to go camping! If you want mountain areas, there's the Lake District which has loads of campsites and the scenery there is amazing! If you want nice quaint beaches and lovely cliff coastal scenery then Cornwall and Devon are great. I stayed at a campsite at a little Devon village called Lynton. It was a lovely campsite with los of bunny rabbits running round, hot water and showers. Best of all though was the glorious sunsets we got from the campsite nearly every night - looking over the countryside and out over the sea! -------------------- Check out my website for great ways to make money online - Money Making Methods

I haven't gone camping, far as I can recall. I really want to, though ...

I went camping at some place in Germany back when i was in primary school. I tell you what 7 days of Hell (and to be honest Hell is a too good of a word to describe it lol).
Why you ask ? There was a storm and it was *issin rain for 5 days straight and then for the last 2 days we didn't do anything cause the teacher had a massive fever -------------------- |

I was fun because one day we went into all the dirt road that we saw in the northern part of the park and got very close to two mule deer, and we were the only ones there so nobody could spook it but us:). |

I don't go camping all too often, but I'm going to go on one this weekend, with many of my friends. Actually, it's a bivouac for my Cadet Unit, so I'd assume we'd be learning alot of stuff like navigation, basic first aid... etc.
