Are you coding it from scratch? Some suggestions and bugs you should fix: - Fix names like \\\ from causing SQL error's. When users with those names post, users viewing any post that name posted in will get this error, CODE Query failedYou have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ''\\\'' at line 1 - Users can register account's like admin with a space on the end. Makes it look like the real account. - Logout doesn't work on all pages. - When you register successfully have it go to a new page and tell you. Having it say "You have been signed up successfully!", on the same page, makes it seem like there was an error. - When you add a topic, don't have it go to a blank white page. Have it say your topic has been added using the same layout. - Add flood control... users can just press refresh over and over and flood it. - Stop users from posting blank titles and post content. - Stop users from overriding accepting terms, they can just go to : http://www.cerberus.tfcph.com/forum/signup.php, and not have to agree to anything, making the terms page useless. -------------------- |

I love your blog design AND purpose
design: clean, easy to navigate, nice layout and colors, simple but elegant (and very masculine) -- i like purpose: a tutorials site will always guarantee visitors what "blogging" script do you use, if i may ask? otherwise, good job, hope you get more people to contribute. -------------------- |

^ OMG you're AWESOME.
I hate CuteNews and WordPress is too heavy to install and too difficult to customize. Any recommendations for a good blogging script? (And you're welcome re: the comment) -------------------- |

I do and don't like your forum. Some reasons are:
Don't like it because: - Design sucks, sorry it just does. I like forums to be somewhat "light" based and if it's dark your tables have too many spaces, fill it with a black border on your tables or something. - Use divs instead of tables (I understand for like the forum names and stuff you need a table but for stats and what not you should use div or span it's just more web 2.0ish). - Problematic, I didn't even register and I can tell you're going to have problems, sorry it's just a fact :/. - For coding it from scratch your missing key features that should be implemented such as special register fields and other stuff that you could integrate with your site for more interactivity. Like: - You're one of the few people who even bother coding a forum from scratch and that takes guts as it is. I have coded a few forums from scratch and although it's cool and unique you'll find that a pre-made forum is better for a few reasons; I'll let you find those reasons yourself though |

You layout designs are pretty good, but you need to fix many bugs. Not bad. Keep up the good work!
