I like phpbb mainly because i have my own template a good friend of mine gave me....
 Cheers~ Masta.but phpbb is kinda hard to use... and SMF is pretty easy inside the admin panel... im more fimilar with SMF because i was an Admin... of 1.. n they had 600 member's so it was a pretty fun experence. -------------------- |

well the best i would say phpbb.. There are lost of modifications you can add to is plus tons of themes you can download and install. I think it's kind of easy to use. Some features are hidden within the admin panel but it's easy to uses overall.

I don't know much about web based forums because I'm mainly a wap junky. I know a bit about wap forums though because as you probably know there is a stolen one circulating the web at the moment

I hear pbpBB has a lot of bugs and is a targeted by hackers for it's ease.
I hear YABB is more secure, although I like phpBB better. But the best free forum in my opinion would be SMF. Included in all TFCPH Hosting accounts

phpBB is a great community with its security staff. Because it being open source anybody is allowed to post security fixes and bug fixes.

PHPBB free forum is good, but it is not good enought for big comunities... It is like unprofessional one...
Let's just think about it, SMF have great Admin panel, but don't have so many themes or templates... So, my choice is SMF... With SMF you can control big comunities... It is realy "easy to use" forum and it is free... Third choice is to get in fight with law and use nulled vBulletin, or nulled Inovision Power Board... And when they catch you, you have to pay 10x of it's real price... -------------------- Life is too short, so live your every day like it is your last!
