If you don't own the real thing (cartridge or cds) then it is illegal. If I'm not wrong, the law says you can keep it only for about 24 hrs.

I don't know about all games, but it's illegal to get Nintendo games.

Yeah I hear they sell these old games through the Nintendo Wii for $5 or so.

yea...i use to have gameboy roms in my computer, but i stopped quite a long time ago...
